Parents assemble: kids age & bed time

Wife and I are not in agreement here.
We have 2 girls 7, 5
One boy 1
She is adamant about getting them in bed by 7:30 minimum every night. Weekend rolls around and life happens, softball, dinner, etc. And at 8:00 they are tired and bratty.
I think we need to bump the bed time up for at very minimum the 7 year old, and probably the 5 year old too.
What say you?

How do you feel about spending essentially no time with your children during the week?

Are you saying you think the kids should be in bed by 7 every night, including weekends?

When are they waking up? Do they wake up at the same time regardless of bedtime?

6 and 3, 8:00 pm during the week and we try on the weekends unless there’s something going on.
6 year old is always tired, goes 100 mph all the time, have to wake him up during the week, gets up earlier on the weekends, never naps
3 yo will At least randomly pass out in the car or while watching tv still.
Earlier bed times seem impossible, 8 is hard a lot of nights

On school nights:
4 year old goes to bed around 8:30
12 year old goes to bed at 9:30
We let them stay up later on Friday and Saturday.

Shoot for 8:00 on school nights but usually 8:30.
Around 9:00-9:30 on weekends. Mine are around the same age but no baby.

My 2 year old daughter likes 730, my 4 year old son likes 830. Just let them naturally find it after trying to force it on them, makes for a much more peaceful bedtime.

7 & 10.
7 year old son likes to cockblock so he’s melatonin’ed earlier. 10 year old Daughter does her own thing and is usually out before 9.

8 and 6
In bed around 8 or 8:30 during the week and they're typically sleeping before 9. On Friday/Saturday I don't care when they go to bed but they generally get tired and want to go to bed by 9 or 10 at the latest.

7:30 is pretty early imo. Mine was always 8-8:30 when she was little. Hell I didn't get home from work until 6 most days.
Now she's a teenager and stays up later than me. I don't care if she stays up until 3am. Her arse is getting up at 6:30.

We shoot for 830 for 4, 6, and 8 year old. Wake up at 630. The earliest we ever put them down was 8 and our kids do well with it but I do think it depends on the kid. Ours will stay up til ~11 on the weekends if we let them. They’re supposed to get 10-12 hrs/day, including naps.

8:00 pm is about as early as I would go. There has to be some time as a family together after work and dinner. We started the bath and book process at 7:30.

9, 7, and 2
Try to get them in bed by 8:30, usually closer to 9, sometimes after. Don't even know how 7:30 would be possible most nights if you have them doing any sort of activities.

8, 10, 14, 16
The 16 goes to bed when wants to which is usually 10. The 14, 10, and 8 year old go to bed around 9 on weekdays unless practice runs over and around 10 on weekends.
