Same. House in madisonville, in the swamp about 300 feet from the river, currently about 3-4ft from being in the house.

Please let me know if y'all start taking on water in the house, I'm fairly certain my house is going to flood.

The rumors have already begun.

This is when social media actually should censor "misleading information"

I told her to go set him straight, that I would have seen it on TigerDroppings before the news knew about it.

Except it said nothing about where it is going, just where it is. Also nothing about what that means for the people I was asking about now apparently on the backside of it.

The original post actually did state the direction and movement.. i believe it said 9 mph moving NW.. and the next post said NNW.. but my bad if I offended you or didn’t answer the question correctly. Im just here to help and this thread is not the right place for a pissing contest. My bad.

Currently across the highway. Lots of wind and rain but no damage around us currently.

9pm advisory just said NW. From the advisory update statement:
quote:

PRESENT MOVEMENT...NW OR 340 DEGREES AT 9 MPH

Well 340 degrees is almost exactly NNW. NW would be about 315.

Think I hear siding ripping off my neighbors house now. Mine is getting blasted by tree limbs

I lost a big chunk of siding off of my house earlier. I'm in AP, but not your neighbor lol. The wind is ramped up out here. Death in AP on Hwy 621, tree fell through house.

Apparently Sorrento is really bad off

That's what the mayor said 30 mins ago but I'm not getting anything terrible outside of the heavy wind and rain. I'm also inside...

We’re very concerned. Never had issues with any storm in the past, Katrina, issac, 2016 flood. But this one is getting worrisome as it has yet to even pass

Maybe they meant to put “NNW” then. I just went with what I saw, which was NW.
