I don’t wish death on anyone, but for such a shite attitude, I hope you’re in a bind at some point. And you will be. Absolutely no consideration for other people.

No I’ve spent all day getting property and family ready to leave. It’s a giant pain to leave with two kids and a wife due for a third in 10 days. So yes I was holding out hope while getting ready, and we are going.

I don’t understand why you are so offended. New Orleans power grid is about to have a big test. I sincerely hope you aren’t backing on the Zeta experience to inform your choice. That was a dry storm producing high winds for about 45 minutes. New Orleans is a wobble away from something far more serious than Zeta or Isaac or Gustav.

isn't that far of a shift. Went from the MS river at BR to in-between Prairieville and Gonzalez.

Hurricane Michael, 50 miles inland, we had 100' hardwoods pushed over and pines snapped at 20' mark. Thousands of them.

We are out of the cone.

Looking to see what we can do now to support the east. Have some friends in BR that can use some of the stuff I picked up if we don't need it they can have it all.

Well LC folks can probably finally feel completely safe after this update

I was fine and doing a mini celebration dance with my 11 year who’s been worried sick all night. Then this dipshit started posting. It’s been a while since I kinda feel a bit of anger on this board.

I’m not offended at all, I don’t have the option to leave whether I wanted to or not.

It’s just curious to me that after all the bickering you did for multiple pages, and while you have two kids and a pregnant wife at home that this is the update that finally convinced you.

In New Orleans too. Not really sure where to go.

My friend

Please

Go anywhere

Please

North, east, west

Sleep in your car on the shoulder of I10 in Beaumont or Pensacola by a truck stop - will seem like a 5 star resort compared to the few days you’ll experience in New Orleans

Where are the tracks with the towns listen on the map? The one with the fine line for the track.

It’s crazy how quick this storm goes from a major hurricane to a tropical storm. Maybe that’s normal and I’ve never paid much attention to it.

Yeah. It's showing that it might be a tropical storm by the time it gets level with Baton Rouge.
