false.
before the botched overnight pull out by President Biden, we had 2500 troops in Afghanistan total. That’s in comparison to 10k as recent as 2014. Also, there hasn’t been an American military death in Afghanistan since January 2020. We also have significantly more in Germany, Syria, Italy, and many other bases all over the world. next..

You act like this statement is for any religion. It’s not. It’s only Islam. Don’t lump all religions in with this statement.

I don't even think we needed to keep anything in Afghanistan. We have bases in the middle east that we ain't abandoning. Simply providing air support to Afghan forces would have been enough to prevent the Taliban from taking the country. Trump proved that overwhelming air strikes are effective. I fully support that tactic. We don't have to have a huge physical presence to be effective.

Wherein 70-75% of the adult population identifies as Christian? Don't be a fuk.

Identifying as a Christian, and actually living a Christian lifestyle, are far different things.
There are churches out there that celebrate gay marriage and transgenderism. They "identify as Christian" but are absolutely not Christian. The numbers are FAR lower than you believe them to be.

Right wingers only solution is to stay in Afghanistan or continue bombing Afghanistan.
Congratulations. You are now Advocates for endless war.

The only reason this statement can be true is because Biden allowed the Taliban to take Afghanistan. I fully support bombing the Taliban into submission and keeping that on the table FOREVER. You know, the targeted air strikes that Trump carried out and then immediately left behind? Those clearly worked. Unfortunately, because of Joe Biden, "Taliban" and "Afghanistan" are the same.
ETA: at least you're letting us see the "all or nothing" mindset Joe Biden clearly went into this with. We have to leave thousands of Americans in Afghanistan to fend for themselves or we are "SuPpOrTiNg EnDlEsS wArS!" Makes sense.

a) you’re being dramatic because you know you’re wrong
b) you’re painting me into a corner. be better.
c) by polling data the majority of Americans want out of Afghanistan. And that’s Left, Right, and Center.
d) you’re confusing strategy vs execution to carry water for this failed administration.

Your suggestion is that Biden should have battled the Taliban for future control of Afghanistan. Wow. This is perhaps the most idiotic thing I’ve seen posted on the subject.

we held control of important strategic points in Afghanistan with 2500 troops, prior to the botched overnight pullout.
again, strategy vs execution.

Well, Klark, we either leave or we don’t. When your dear leader signed the deal with the Taliban, promising we would leave, why were you cheering?

This statement reflects an ignorance of the history of Christianity.
