Anyone with “sauces” know when an official announcement will be made?

I assumed with the Super Dome going batshit, they would at least make a statement for/or against restrictions soon.

They’re probably waiting to see the Saints fallout

I said they would most likely wait until mid week of first home game. This way they only have to hear people complain for 3 days instead of three weeks.

One on here called me out for being crazy but still no answer.

I'm following because I am bringing my two kids to their first football game in mid September. Want to know if vaccines and masks are mandated before week of.

22 days until the home opener. A lot can happen good or bad in 22 days in terms of Covid numbers/Government restrictions. The Saints have a home game on Monday. If JBE places restrictions or more mandates, LSU Athletic Department avoids being the bad guy and avoids negative press. That's why I'd imagine they're holding off on an announcement.

What do you want them to say? You need them to hold your hand and update you daily? They came out two weeks ago and said there are no restrictions relating to tiger stadium

Unless the state forces them later with a new mandate, they have already updated you

LSU is not going to place any restrictions on themselves. They'll enforce whatever stupid shite JBE comes up with. The Saints didn't decide to require vaccinations and masks. Destroya did that.

The Dome is a enclosed facility! Tiger stadium is an open air stadium.

Yeah i don't see that happening at all. If they announce something it won't be 3 days before kickoff.

LSU and the SEC would be absolute morons to flinch on this until the week of the game. Everybody can see the seasonality trends.

I think it was more likly at the beginning of the week that it is now. Since this was discussed earlier this week:
-the Saints we strong armed into providing refunds
-Funding for NOLA projects was postponed which most believe to be a direct results of NOLA's vax mandate
-Articles are coming out about the devastating effects the vaxx mandate has had on tourism/service in just 1 week.

Could be wrong....but I think there's alot going on in NOLA that would give LSU pause about following their lead

The delay is good news.
We may have peaked in the current surge and in a week or two, the outlook be greatly improved. If we make decisions based on current (last weeks') data, you will not like the result.

Weren't you the one who initially claimed to have sauces indicating a vaxx mandate at TS? If so what are they saying now

The Alumni Association contacted me asking me for my credit card info to pay for the Kentucky trip this week. I have been traveling with these guys for 10 years and always paid. The trip is not until October and I told them I want to see how all the SEC schools react for their first home games before I put stuff on my card. They told me I have until monday to confirm. I take that as a huge red flag on what they know is coming.

Nothing is coming you Karens. Numbers are on the decline and no restrictions have been put in place. They aren’t coming

Still easy for them to lose my business after all these years. Rarely have I ever paid this far out for a trip and now people that used to work with you are giving you ultimatums about your money 6 weeks out when ask for another 2 weeks max for info. Politics has taken enough fun out sports for me over the last year to easily tell them peace out. I just want to discuss with my gang I usually travel with when we BBQ this weekend first.

I can’t relax and have my old fun at football games I will hang loose and cut up with my boys in the neighborhood and drink my arse off watching wall to wall football in the AC for a lot less money

No doubt a wait until the last moment to see if everything clears up or to minimize the complaining time period if access is restricted.
