I’m in the market for a new cooler to take on a long road trip, and so, if I wanted to make sure I didn’t break any baw law, is Yeti still the cooler to go with, or is there another I should be looking at?

Rtic is a good brand. Hell igloo and Coleman make some good coolers

I have the yeti with the wheels and love it but it’s a lot of money for a cooler.

The igloo marine series is a very good priced cooler and perform extremely well

Yetis are overrated.

There are numerous cheaper brands that are just as if not more effective.

Real baws go with K2 Coolers, they're a South Louisiana company.

Do they have stickers I can put on the rear window of my truck?

My two rules for coolers:

1) Do a decent job keeping things cold.

2) Cheap enough that I don't care too much if it accidentally gets left behind, lost, stolen, etc.

With those two rules in mind, I can go through a lot of igloos and colemans for the price of one yeti.

Check out Lifetime coolers at Walmarks.

Comparable to Yeti but much less expensive. Made in the good ol USA, if that has any appeal to you.

Before you buy a Yeti, you must fit the criteria

1. Does your wife drive a SUV
2. Does it have a 30A sticker on it?

If yes then get the Yeti

Amazon has these:

Amazon Bodega

If you are going to spend a few hundred for a cooler that claims to keep ice for 3 days, why not buy the real thing with a plug and keep it frozen.
