Thats certainly the narrative, although several hospitals have been caught playing with the numbers. You'll inevitably see the same things here that nations like Israel and Iceland are seeing; the higher the rate of vax, the higher the percent of folks in the hospital are vaxxed. Its just math.
The question you should be asking is; why are these highly vaxxed nations -literally all of them- having to deal with crushing case spikes and overcrowded hospitals in the first place?

Little sis is a nurse practitioner, she is seeing the vaccinated cases rise faster than unvaccinated with worse symptoms. (She did say those worse symptoms might be because of comorbidities.)

MDs and other medical terminal degrees have far more experience interpreting data (allegedly) than your average travel ball plant worker baw.

The poster I was responding to was saying that the vaccine was to keep hospilizations down. He then said that hospitalizations are down. There never was much danger of hospitals becoming overrun in the worst parts of the pandemic so with hospitalizations down even more because of the vaccine, why are some even entertaining lockdowns?

Can you provide a link or study that supports this?
The US had 1000 deaths yesterday. That doesn't sound like most of the vulnerable people have died or anywhere close to it.

I am exhausted which is why I’m making more typos than normal, but it’s only halfway through my shift today and I got a solid 5.5 hours of sleep last night. Plus coffee is free for doctors.

Are you seriously suggesting that the 15,000 elderly that Cuomo killed are in the hospital taking up beds??? Of course they aren’t, they are in the grave.
Go look at an age breakdown of Covid deaths…the elderly/vulnerable are already dead, therefore they aren’t in the hospital. How hard is that to understand.
