After seeing the curved screen on the pro I'm on the fence now. I think I hate curved screens and not sure I want to drop to the regular with less ram and 90hz screen.

I don't want a phone that big, and I have big hands. I don't get it. My Pixel 5 is about right...I'd do even smaller if there was a decent option.

Currently still have the Pixel 3a. Was planning to make it until next Fall and jump to the Pixel 6a if they made a budget version. The competitive pricing of today's release makes me think they'll kill the -a budget line though. I'll make a decision next Spring/Summer when the rumors start circulating and more reviews are in on the regular 6.

I think it's reasonable to wait for Google to get the hardware right. This is the first generation of their new core. It's an all new platform for them. I wouldn't be surprised if it takes a while to get the glitches out. The next generation Google phone will be the 6 with all the glitches worked out.

While true they shouldn't have many issues hardware wise. All established stuff from Samsung including the Exynos 9855 Tensor chip they made.

I preordered the 6 today. I would have gone with the pro but don't think i would like the curved screen.

I'm very tempted to upgrade to the P6 or P6 Pro, but I can wait for the reviews and wait until the bugs have been worked out.
Also, my Pixel 4a 5G just got updated to Android 12 today, and it feels so fresh. The color options are very cool. This is the best Android update I've ever seen.

Where did you order from? I ordered the Pro 256 Cloudy model from Google and it was saying delivery Oct 27-28 but now it says Nov 16-17.
I'm going on vacation at the end of Oct and was hoping to have the new phone. May have to see if I can get it from somewhere else.

I ordered from TMobile customer service, their website was down too yesterday so I had to call in and order, got a white Pro

This is the driving force behind me getting it. My 4Xl had horrible speakerphone issues so hoping with the hardware upgrades don't have any issues like that.
