Who do you share/celebrate financial milestones with?

Being single I have never really shared/felt able to share my financial successes with anyone. Whether it just be weird or possible inappropriate. I hit a certain big one today milestones and feel good about it, also kind of weird

In general, they go like this -
*Networth, asset level, ROI* reached,
Internal dialogue, "That's neat."
Then on to the next.

Felt the same way about career accomplishments. Hit some big ones along the way, and as it turns out, no one really gives a chit. Looking outside-in, I am not sure I would either.
For financial milestones, hit last "big" one end of 2019 and my wife said "that's nice" (its both of ours).
Reminded how much time/effort I spend on interesting but not important things. So I went out for long bike ride and looked at the trees, birds, and nature. I am told that is important! Kidding. It is.

I don’t think it’s a bad idea to lift your skirt up for a business partner or friend, so long as it’s meant to hold each other accountable and doesn’t turn into a dick-measuring contest. Of course, the skirt lifting should be mutual … and honest.

I have a very good friend who i share everything with. We are both rookies so we don't have big success stories, but we are learning every day

The only one I’ve ever really celebrated was paying off my student loans. My fiancé (now wife) and I went out to a steak restaurant for dinner. It was nice.
If I knew then what I know now, I never would have used separate property to pay off this debt. Instead I would have waited until I was married and used income that is now community property to payoff my separate debt. But alas I was a lover back then and not the stone cold financial killer I am today.

I celebrate with my wife. She owns half my shite anyway. She also doesn’t spend crazy money, just mildly psychotic, so I don’t think she’ll go on a spending spree if I tell her.
My close friends don’t make the money I do so I would feel awkward if I celebrated with them, like I was bragging. That may be more me than them though.
I share big scores with my dad too. You can tell it makes him proud.

Only one I share with is my wife. Response is always subdued, "that's nice, great, etc..."
Never did anything to celebrate or mark the occasions unfortunately. Last big NW milestone we already had a vacation planned so I made a point of saying that's how we are celebrating but since it was already planned that didnt really ring true.

Something I wish I'd done, mark NW milestones with bottle of wine and save the corks. Saw blog post about this. Their technique was to mark each cork w/ NW but in roman numeral so it wouldnt mean anything to houseguests. Minor milestones marked w/ wine and bigger ones w champagne. So like every $10k, a wine cork and champagne every $100k. It would have been good to mark and encourage progress early in the journey starting from zero.

I just make sure that whatever the celebration cost is doesn't make me go just back beneath that milestone, so gotta have a bit of a buffer when you cross it so you can party hard....

My wife is the only person I share financial details with. For promotions, raises (% based, won't talk $), career advice I will reach out to close friends also in the industry or my dad.
