A little preface: I'm considered high risk because I'm mid 50's and My BMI is out of range but that's deceptive. I'm on the treadmill everyday(4 miles)and I do resistance/weight training 3 days a week. I consider myself to be very fit for my age. Not as good as I once was but.. well you get it.

Tuesday night my wife told me she had a sore throat and I didn't think much of it. I go to work Wednesday morning and I'm feeling fine. I talk to my wife mid morning and she tells me she is feeling way worse. Being precautious I go check my temp and I'm normal. Absolutely no signs of anything for me. wife is feeling much worse now and is going to get checked for covid. By now I'm starting to feel a very slight pressure in my head. not really a head ache but noticeable. I decide to go get checked. Took a couple hours to get tested and by the time I got to see the doctor I kinda figured I had it because I never have head aches. Indeed I tested positive. My wife as well.

By Wednesday night I had a low grade fever that ran between 99 and 101. still a slight pressure in my head but nothing that prevented me from sleeping. I slept great. I stayed like that for about 30 hours. Woke up in the middle of the night last night sweating from my fever break. Got out of bed this morning with very little lingering affects.
I know this bug affects people differently but for me so far it is what I expected. I had confidence in my personal health and fitness.
I'm actually happy to get this behind me as I believe we will all get it at some point.
Wife is actually doing better as well. She is younger and physically fit as well.
I'm only 1 case and I certainly don't expect people to see my case as a guideline for themselves but these are my results. Use as you see fit.

When I had it the same thing happened to me and my fever broke and I was fine for a day but then the fever came back. It fools you that way.

We don’t doubt that you had Covid but we do need proof of wife.

Glad you and your wife are feeling better. My coworker just signed a DNR for his 50 year old mother this morning who is in total organ failure due to Covid.

Hits people different for sure.

Sounds like allergies. Would have not thought of even getting tested at this point.

But I've had all of these symptoms barely a week ago. With a cough.

shite....now I'm trying to find a place where I can get tested without providing my name.

I just got over a mild case of it. It’s the strangest sickness I’ve ever had. The feeling of fever and running actual fever would come and go. I had my fever break 3 or 4 times over. the course of 10 days. I thought I was good on days 7 and 8, then the fever came back and I felt like crap on days 9 and 10. Then it was pretty much gone.

Danolim,
My youngest unvaxxed adult son, 21 1/2 yrs, had fatigue, headache, and on the second day with the headache he developed a 101 fever, He gets checked and has Covid. Symptoms started Monday this week, confirmed Wed am, still had headache and fever last night. Hopefully today he is much better.
He lives with me and his 24 yr old brother. So far, his brother and I have no symptoms.
I had the shot sequence in March this year. His brother did not.
I’ll update later.

This is exactly what it was like for me. My primary symptom was the fever. I did have a mild headache through the duration of the fever.

No shite. I just can't believe we are in a global pandemic and there was never a separate board created to discuss it. I mean, there's one for music but not covid? I miss just seeing boobs, speed queen washers, and traffic from only 1 lane merging off the new bridge on here.

Yeah it was strange. 11 days of fever that mostly didn't go away at anytime. Chills and sweats. Thought I was done at day 8.

Other than that, just headaches in the beginning and upset stomach along with some body aches.
