Good for them. Free market working. Companies realizing they can’t just offer slave wages to attract labor anymore.

They’ll get more, higher quality employees and those individuals will be more easily able to obtain a college degree and later contribute to society as an educated citizen.

Also friendly reminder that the only reason college is expensive is because of government involvement.

At least the Sociology and Gender Studies majors can find gainful employment now. Rioting in the street or being a member of BLM/ANTIFA is not gainful employment.

I see this as an absolute win. I have long advocated private market solutions to higher education.

The Feds need to get out of the student loan game.

Not when the government is paying people absurd ammounts to stay home and can print infinite money indefinitely.

Bankrupting liberal corporations with inflation is probably the best we're going to get out of two years of COVID.

Woke company or not that’s one helluva perk to offer. Good for them and the others that were mentioned in the article for doing this.

How is it a free market when the government is literally paying people to not work? This isn't an incentive born of competition, it is born from necessity because of government interference.

There's not a problem on this earth the government isn't willing and able to make worse.

It’s not just Target. My neighbor got a $5000 sign on bonus to change employers and he can transfer to any location after 1 yr.
Government paying too much money to not get a job has to stop for people to go back to work.

That won't happen.

Small businesses, on the other hand, have and will be decimated.
