I thought the same as well. If he’s a DES then I could see him making it to campus but for a guy to re-classify, I could easily see him going the JUCO route to get back to the draft quicker. Hopefully JJ can pitch him to come here and improve his stock much more.

he's already enrolled in summer classes at LSU. I feel like if his goal was draft or juco he would have just stayed home and then made one move

Do HS kids sign for 250K? That's not a lot of money after taxes esp if it is only a one time payment.

Another question for Project.

How many of these HS guys are older than Little?

If Noot wasn't drafted in the 1st 10 rounds he has to be coming to LSU.

Less than 200k and it seems like an understandable decision to go to college. Provided there are possibly
some NIL deals to offset any scholarship restrictions. Just my opinion. It is probably even more attractive for 2 year players.

Question for anyone: Is there a chance that we don’t have room for everyone now (The incoming class)? Project mentioned in the other thread that we are around 48 / 49 with a COVID Sr. The roster limit is 35 with non COVID Sr players.

They will make room for the incoming class by “processing” guys currently on the roster. Those are touch decisions, but it’s a great problem to have.

Fellas…I had a short back and forth with Shooter Hunt (PBR recruiting guy) on Twitter today as he was talking about how huge it was to possibly get these guys to school. He said how Neal might be the biggest impact for our immediate success and I just saw that Brady Neal liked the tweet I was tagged in…I’m not saying it’s over but sure looks like he might be headed to the good guys

I agree that getting Neal to LSU has the most significant impact on next year's team. If we can keep Pineda and get Guidry, who is also another arm, to go along with Kling, Shores, Bronzini, Moffett, and possibly Noot that would be impressive. Maybe just one more portal arm to finish up.
