SEC twitter touting LSU's vaccination rate. I think that's great. Downvote away.

Setting aside politics and the inevitable shite show this thread will become.

This is a small, but powerful piece of evidence of something. That our team is LOCKED IN and FOCUSED. Basically the entire team is doing everything they can, to prevent themselves from missing time on the field from this crap.

Everyone on the boat is rowing the same direction. That is good.

Back to your arguing.

Michael Irvin recently went on a rant about the Cowboys because they didn’t meet the 80% vax requirement to left masks at training camp. Basically his point was that if you are a pro football player and you are 100% committed to winning a super bowl you get the vax, whether you agree with vax or not, football has to be the most important thing and everyone in the lockerroom has to be on the same page. Said jimmy johnson would preach that stuff all the time.

I personally am against mask mandates and a mandate to get the vax, though I did get it for myself. But I LOVE the fact that the team is all on the same page and are committed to winning football games.

Shows how controversial the vaccine is in our country. Dems hate to admit Trump’s policies allowed for the vaccine. Dems want everyone to take it, though. Conservatives don’t want to be forced to take a vaccine, even though Trump championed it. Many on here who are very against the vaccine think LSU’s football team being at 97% vaccinated rate shows commitment and is a good thing.

LSU should be Vax Choice.

We could score some 4 and 5 stars from Vax mandate schools.

After seeing what happened to NC State in Omaha, no one associated with LSU sports should be an antivaxxer. Do you want to be the reason that we have to forfeit to Ole Miss? I didn't think so.

Why would anyone downvote having more people and more players vaccinated?

See, that’s what makes me different than a lot of conservatives and liberals. I have no problem with people getting vaccinated,it’s not possible to make COVID worse by getting vaccinated, yeah you can still get COVID ,and still have players miss, but one thing we know is that the viruses symptoms area less severe if you get the virus after being vaccinated.it’s also less contagious. These are facts

I’m a republican but I’m now realizing that everyone’s too extreme left or right wing.
I can’t reach a middle ground with these fricking political parties. It’s either people telling me that I’m a tinfoil hat wearing anti vaxxer or I see people on the other side almost getting mad at people for getting the fricking thing.

I don’t want it but I think it’s a good thing to have it if your at risk
For football , you need it to avoid hurting the team because of the extreme testing you get by being unvaccinated.

It’s a free country, respect those who don’t want it, but don’t shite on people that do want it
Thats common sense

Our LSU people are stepping up and volunteering to head up the clinical trials on an experimental gene therapy that offers zero protection for athletes in this age group.

Just another example of LSU insanity and stupidity.

They should never have touted it as a vaccine. It’s similar to the flu shot. There’s a shot you can still contract the A or B strain even with the shot. But, the shot prepares your immune system from bad effects.

From the jump, calling it a vaccine was idiotic

If they're in LSU they graduated high school which makes them more educated than 95% of the anti-vaxxers.
