Salaries are first year based on multiyear deals.
I will note that the numbers seem low for some of the listed based on other projections that I've seen.

Chris Paul $30 - 35 million
Kyle Lowry $22-24 mill
Mike Conley $20-22 mill
Lonzo Ball $ 18-20 mill
S. Dinwiddie $ 18-20 mill
D. Schroder $ 16-18 mill

A number of others of lesser quality and value listed that I will not include.

What do other services project for these top PG's? Would the Pels match a $18 - $ 20 mill per year 4 year deal for Lonzo? What is the top we should pay him?

I would like to get the PG situation resolved soon.

I think we will have to pay Lowry more than this to get him to come here.

If we are only paying Lowry 22...I think we could? I dunno the cap stuff with all of the trades and holds and such is way over my head.

We can do it even if we pay Lowry more than that.

I would rather roll with Lonzo (and I hate lonzo) and Lewis than give up assets and big money for Lowry. He’s not Chris Paul and never has been.

Great leader (once he got his head screwed on straight) but does not impact the floor like the other guys do

If we get Lowry as part of the Memphis deal, then we're operating as an over the cap team and can keep Lonzo and Hart's holds on the books. The only issue is if we pay Lowry 30 mil, and pay Lonzo 20 mil, then we only have about 6 mil under the tax. Which means we'd probably have to let Hart go.

At those projections I definitely roll with zo.

20 million us definitely an overpay for him, but I'll take that over overpaying dinwiddie, lowry, Schroeder etc. No question.

We would also be hard capped I believe if we acquire Lowry in a S&T.

If we went that route, I would hope to have Lowry at 27ish per and Ball at 17-18ish per. Put's you at 10ish below the tax right? Still able to make some moves to fill out the roster.

I really do not think they go that route though. I think if they go Lowry they let Ball go or S&T him.

Right, but I don't think that would matter a whole lot, because I don't think we're planning on going 6 mil over the tax anyway.

Yeah, ideally if we got them at those numbers, then we could either re-sign Hart at about 10ish mil in his first year, or use the full MLE to get another player, and still stay under the tax. I think Lonzo's deal is going to start at about 18 mil, unless someone massively overpays for him. We could start him at 18 mil and still give him a 4 year 81 mil contract. I just don't know about Lowry's.

Maybe….although it seems like all of his other potential suitors are looking to explore other options first at the moment.

If we offer $25mil with a partially guaranteed third year, he might jump to that instead of waiting to see how the market plays out….especially potential movements of Simmons, Lillard, Sexton, etc.

What if Dinwiddie signs with the Heat, Wizards, or Knicks for $20-$22mil and he has to take the best offer available?

I think we would be pretty desirable as the first team to offer him as well, and at that salary it’s not completely unreasonable. We can work out a sign and trade for Lonzo to the Bulls, Knicks, or Heat as well.

I think Miami is the big threat to sign him. I'm not overly concerned about anyone else.

Is he %100 opting out? He'd be giving up money. Unless he's just wanting to average it out as 100 million + over the next 3 years no matter how its worked out.

Werent the rumors close to 30? Im with you, these all seem to be low except maybe Conley and Dinwiddie.

Lonzo Ball $ 18-20 mill

If you can get Lonzo at 18, you almost have to resign him. If you got him for 22 you probably still need to sign him, even if its for future trade value. Lonzo would still have trade value at 22 mil per. Its when you get in the 25 range you're overpaying and probably stuck with him or not going to get a decent ROI.

At his age and injury history, I am quite sure he would prefer the long term deal

I don't want Lowry, but if we got him at 25 mil with a team option 3rd year, I wouldn't be terribly upset.

Now, I know the only way he signs here is for 30 mil and a 3rd guaranteed year, so I wouldn't be upset with him telling us to frick off either.

I'll take both if that's the cost. Or S&T Ball to MIA, CHI or WAS.

I’d still like to bring in a movement shooter of some kind. Murphy looks to be a good shooter, but he is more of a 3&D catch and shoot guy. Which is nice, but we need someone else who can create shots off the dribble and screens.
