If you just want good bread I am pretty sure Calandros sells Leidenheimer french bread

I think you can find Poupart Bakery (Lafayette) products at Southside Produce.

I saw an article recently about Rosch Bakehaus, but saw it too late. They're closed for the Summer as I think it's basically someone operating out of their house. But if you check out their social media, everything looks amazing.

There have been similar threads in the past and the most common answer is Whole Foods.

Check out Oak Point. La Morenita also bakes bread in-house. Both are great

Not Baton Rouge, although they are usually at the Saturday Farmers Market - Forte Grove Bakery from Plaquemine.

BREADA - Forte Grove Bakery
