Going back to school using gi bill and bought student tickets for first time. Been going for years but never in student section. I figure its a shite show but for the price I'll give it a shot.

Sit in the top row right across the aisle from TGBFTL. Great seat and you’re not actually down among the students.

totally depends where you sit, usually the further to the front the more sober it is and then the higher you go the more puking and fighting there is. But at the same time nothing is guaranteed. Sometimes you meet awesome folks and other times youre next to some real assholes. But all in all there is no better place to watch the Tiger win

# 1 ranked student section in both TIK Tok and Instagram usage. So good they usually sit out the second half.

Depends on who we’re playing, but that’s where a good portion of that Tiger Stadium noise comes from. You may see some fights and arrests, if you’re lucky. It can be a shite show, but man do I miss it.

It kind of sucks, was way too crowded in my day, almost got in a fight once trying to protect the seats of friends that went to piss.

Its a crap shoot. Either the best experience in all of sports or your standing next to a frat a-hole that is barely alive.

I used the G.I. Bill for my time at LSU. I was 26 when I was sitting in the student section for LSU football games between 2004 and 2008.

It’s incredible. You’re gonna have an amazing time. Go for it and get crazy

The seating is first-come first serve so on the big games you’re gonna want to stand in line up to three hours ahead of kick off if you want front row seats. They are worth it.

Watching the 2007 season from the first row is filled with lifelong memories for me. Those games against Florida and Auburn are things I will tell my grandchildren about

My first game in Tiger Stadium was the 2004 season. Kickoff was delayed due to a thunderstorm. One hour delay in which multiple streakers ran across the field and the entire student section did not leave the stands. We were going nuts during that weather delay.

It will be the best experience you will ever have in TS.

Don't worry about the shitshow. You will be glad to experience it.

I used to sit in the student section when student ID was not required. Students never sit down so you are standing constantly. Their behavior was rowdy with much alcohol. I suggest going to the top row so you don’t have anyone behind you spilling their drink down your back. GEAUX TIGERS!!!

2020 graduate here. For normal games, sit closer to the top. People sit down up there and it’s just less to deal with.

But for the big games, make your way down to the lower sections. It’s rowdy, it’s a party, you might get beer spilled on you and you might see someone vomiting 2 rows away, but I’ve never had more fun at a sporting event than being in those sections for 2019 Florida, 2017 Auburn, 2018 Georgia, pregame and 1st quarter of 2018 Alabama, 2019 Texas A&M, etc

I went on the GI Bill and sat in the student section. It wasn't bad at all to me. It shouldn't be as crazy as some weekends you experienced in the military. My unit made CNN for hazing though, so it might've been an exception.

The student section needs to start throwing drinks again after touchdowns. Miss those days.

Sat in the student Section when you had to have your ID so they could punch a hole in it for the game. No purchase necessary, free to any student who wanted to attend (part of the fees). I also lived in tiger stadium (West stadium).
