totally depends where you sit, usually the further to the front the more sober it is and then the higher you go the more puking and fighting there is. But at the same time nothing is guaranteed.

Sometimes the really drunk ones get there early to get the good seats, but the slowly sober up during the game if they didn't sneak anything in...so it doesn't always work that way.

Sitting higher avoids having drinks thrown on you. But again the Student Section was fun, and a TD meant a celebration...good times back in the early 2000's.

After I was out of school I got tickets on the 40 yrd line. I stood up to cheer before the opening kick-off and got told to sit down by an old LSU fan behind me. I left that very second and told the friend that was with me that I won't go in person again unless I can sneak into the student section.

My first game in Tiger Stadium was the 2004 season. Kickoff was delayed due to a thunderstorm. One hour delay in which multiple streakers ran across the field and the entire student section did not leave the stands. We were going nuts during that weather delay.

I remember that. Gameday at the Parade Grounds. We were #3 and coming off a NC and almost lost to unranked Oregon State. Oregon State kicker bailed us out. My cell phone was ruined.

If you’ve never done it might as well go for it

I’m 28 now but I have no desire to sit in the student section anymore guess I’m just old

I’m 40 and I’d still go sit there, but I’ll admit that my maturity level during LSU football games always regresses back to when I was in college.

I'd rather be in a drive by shooting than sit there

Douche level off the charts. Too weak to stay after halftime as well.

I regret I have but 1 upvote for you sir. Five falls @ LSU. Didn’t miss a single home game. I remember about 10 plays. But damn sure were good times.

Our seats are in the north end zone. I have to be near the student section. It depends on the opponent, of course, but if it’s a big game, there’s nothing better.
