We’re canceling our Labor Day trip there. No friggin way we are wearing masks again at Disney. ….Especially in September.

Indoors people, indoors
That still sucks, but it’s tolerable. Outdoors was a nightmare

Maybe, maybe not. If I’m in an outdoor line for an indoor ride, will I have to wear a mask?
And if they go from no masks to indoor masks, is a full time mask requirement that far off?

There is no maybe. They specifically said masks for indoors only

I'm planning to go in January with a 3yo and 2yo. Hope this is resolved by then since their mask reliability will be very questionable...
Indoor only much more tolerable than outside I guess. If it progresses from here I'm cancelling.

We're planning on going in June next year. If it's still imposed we're cancelling. I'm done with masks.

Disney considers waiting in line as indoors. Doesn’t matter if the line is indoors or outdoors.
No way I’m going to Disney right now.

Wearing a mask is unbearable, but if you are getting heat stroke from wearing a mask you probably would not have been that far off in the middle of July anyway
We're still planning on going for labor day week. Hopefully, the people saying we should hit a plateau in 2-3 are not that far off and the masks will be gone by then anyway.

I went last August/September when we had to wear masks indoors and outdoors. I loathe the heat. Trust me, if I could tolerate the mask, anyone can. It would not stop me at all from going. What WILL stop me from going are the recent trip reports I've been reading where all the rides are close to an hour+ wait. I don't mind wearing masks with low crowds. But no way will I go when it's packed, mask or not.

Most of the rides have indoor lines at some point. They are asking you to pay more than it cost in 1Q20 yet they now want you to wear a mask and they took away fast passes and closed restaurants. So a trip 2 years ago you might have spent $3k and rode every ride. Now you’re paying more and riding about half due to crowds and lack of fast passes. It’s insane to go right now.

I’d seen where they were casting to reopen some of the shows awhile back, they still moving forward on that or have they stopped? If they’d reopen the shows that would relieve some of the ride crowding.

We went for 2 days in July, which was 3 days too many. Place was packed, no fast pass, some stuff still closed, lines were crazy long-we waited 45 min for a freaking cookie. No masks was the only plus.

All reopening are on as scheduled, including fireworks, shows, etc.

I went for 9 days over July 4 weekend and had a completely different experience..never waited more than 30 minutes for anything (including Hagrids and Velocicoaster at Universal) and the only headliner attraction at WDW we didnt do was Flight of Passage because we've just done it so many times.
Sometimes, it just boils down to your "touring style", when you arrive, how late you stay, when you do what, etc.

Are you talking about Gideons at Disney Springs?
