Had to take a 2 week hiatus due to a tough case of the flu. How much should I expect to lose/cut back on my lifts? Ease back into it or just continue where I was at?

finished up w2d1 of GH last night. was smoking the velocities compared to previous weeks, except on sumo...it was down for some reason. Battery was going dead on the VBT device so might have been why.

Finished day 17 of 70s Big. It was the day he actually posted on instagram yesterday. 10 sets of 10 squats. It got spicy.

Went in raw, full weight, full reps. BB3 W4D1. I did not get my last two reps on the last set of bench and did not get all my dips in. I'm sore as hell today and have a feeling tomorrow is gonna be very rough.

W1D3 of stacked and jacked had a nasty shoulder pump, haven’t hit shoulders like that since Pump City. Was doing lateral raises with 10s by the end lol. Cut 30 seconds off all the rest times and it still took an hour and 40 min. Not going to complain to much though since I asked for a ramp up but I’ll hear it from the S/O for the next 4 weeks lol

Finished 70s big just now. The deadlift days absolutely are too much for my old arse. I’ve never had programs with 9-12 sets of heavy deadlifts before and my grip gives out.

Wrapped up week 2 of grasshopper last night. Prolly gonna have to stop and just push the shite out of legs and arse for a while.

That shoulder issue I mentioned last week has gotten bad. What I don’t understand is how my mobility went to shite like literally almost over night and caused this on simple dead hang bodyweight chin

Question about PPSAs Strongville:

When doing the sets with stairs, is it up and down or just up the staircase?

Should there be any elbow discomfort when doing skullcrushers? I have been going very light with them to try and figure out the perfect elbow positioning before upping the weight again. First set is always the worst.

for some, yes. I do not like skull crushers for that very reason.

Glad to see you pop in! Running Daniel's Deadcember currently, but plan on switching back over to PPSA in Jan; probably Benchamin Franklin 1 or 70s Big.

I love skullcrushers and nothing gives me a bigger pump than those bad boys. I recommend doing a couple hi rep sets with light weight on triceps. Cable. Pushdown to get as much blood flowing into the area as possible before the skullcrushers sets. Has greatly diminished any elbow soreness or pain while doing crushers.

Love all of the programs Aaron. Excited to see house of 1000 reps, sounds like a really fun one. Happy holidays to you and your family!

I ran Arm Farm after Grasshopper and then moved to Super Set. I'm running Super Set and love it, def gives me enough time to get some steps or runs in during the week. But wanted to get thoughts when I switch off of Super Set.

How do you load the supersets in arm farm, i.e., the farm flex section? There are other programs that have high rep isolation movements, but arm farm is the most recent for me. I've typically lifted in the 3 - 8 rep range and haven't done a set that had more than 12 reps. More worried about ramping tendons and such for that type of work and not pulling something since I'm usually a bit fatigued by the time the high rep sections happen.

Edit: I'm also down 10 pounds since my first post and currently right on track for the wedding
