So from what I have read, the only thing keeping corporations and the government hesitant about making the vaccine a mandate is that it’s not FDA approved. Forgive the ignorance but is this true?

I do know the DOD can not mandate the vaccine until it’s FDA approved. Yet hospitals can?

I can’t believe I’m saying this but lawyers and the threat of massive litigation might save this country from a national mandate.

If the vaccine works effectively, why would anyone care if someone else has it?

I honestly think Covid has been in the US since late October early November of 2019. I’m pretty sure we have all had it and that most of us were asymptomatic when we had it. I think we hit natural herd immunity August of last year.

Just an opinion.

Not sure what massive litigation would do

“Vaccines required for day care, pre-K, and school attendance

Diphtheria and Tetanus toxoid-containing vaccine and Pertussis vaccine (DTaP or Tdap)
Hepatitis B vaccine.
Measles, Mumps and Rubella vaccine (MMR)
Polio vaccine.
Varicella (Chickenpox) vaccine.”

I pretty sure I saw emails where the DoD is about to start vaccinating everyone in a few months like the flu shot. This could be in preparation of FDA approval. All I know is that regardless we will be the guinea pigs whether my prediction is true or false.

All of this are FDA approved.

I said this yesterday. If the vaccinated are safe, why do they care if the unvaccinated die?

My bad for quickly reading your post.

It sounds like FDA approval should be within next couple of months.

The Polio vaccine was developed for around 45 years before they started mandating it and they had to halt its use even after that because it paralyzed a girl. Normally polio paralysis begins in the legs hers started in the arm where she got the vaccine.

Yet somehow people love to compare the two like its apples to apples. They havent even been working on this vaccine barely a year. But you better go get it damnit!

Are any of those vaccines currently approved by the FDA on an emergency basis? You’re simply comparing apples to oranges.

I agree with you on the October/November 2019, but I don't think we've all had it. I was in NOLA for the National Championship game in January and Mardi Gras in February. I have avoided wearing masks as much as possible, and have been around more people over the last 20 months than the average person. I've had negative antibody results when I donated blood last September and this May. I'm due to donate again, but I've gotten an email saying that the blood center has stopped doing antibody tests. Hopefully they start to do them again.

Science a little. Oh wait. You don’t believe in that.

I’m sure the fact that one entity is public and the other is private has absolutely nothing to do with this discrepancy.

All of those diseases with vaccines listed are extremely rare if around at all. This Covid Jan is not a true vaccine

We will obviously never know because there isn’t a huge push for the population to get any antibodies test. Almost like that information is being suppressed for some reason.

No shite, what does that have to do with what I said.

If the vaccine is effective than there is nothing to fear whether its transmitted or not. What the frick is an effective vaccine?

The irony of you calling someone names.

The vaccine doesn’t prevent transmission.

It’s people like you that make this pandemic worse.

FYI. I’m not vaccinated.

Just calling you out on stupidity.
