All these doctors act like Ivermectin and HCQ doesn’t exist. I wonder why?

But why do I need a vaccine if I could wear a mask? Remember this?

351 million people in this country.

.14% of the population

FWIW, sometimes i don't get flu shots too. The HORROR!!!

Ask him if he's giving ivermectin and corticosteroids, since you know him well, and let's us know what he said. Thanks.

He won’t ask him because he never heard of the guy until today.

1. Ivermectin to have any possible antiviral benefits it has to be given at dosages that are above the TD50 (dosage at which 50% of recipients experience some form of toxic adverse effect(s)) for ivermectin and 5x higher than the FDA approved dosage IIRC. Ivermectin is neurotoxic, but it does not cross the blood-brain barrier (BBB) at the FDA approved dosages so it is safe at the FDA approved dosages. However if ivermectin is given at dosages high enough to have an antiviral effects (again 5x the FDA approved dosage IRRC) the serum concentration is high enough to force ivermectin across the (BBB) and enter the brain.

2. Corticosteroids interacts with Ivermectin and makes it easier for Ivermectin to cross the BBB. Making it easier for a neurotoxic agent to cross the BBB is something that should be avoided.

3. If you give ivermectin at the dosages needed for it to have any antiviral effect(s) and combine it with steroids then not only are you driving a neurotoxic agent across the BBB, but you are driving a neurotoxic agent across the BBB at dosages that are much higher than the TD50 and dosages that are approaching the LD50 (dosage at which 50% of recipients die).

4. If you combine ivermectin at doses high enough to have antiviral effects and corticosteroids then you are definitely going to cause brain damage and very possibly cause coma and/or brain death. All of those are bad and reasons why nobody gives ivermectin and corticosteroids.

What’re you asking, exactly?

If you’re poking at masks, I’ve been of the opinion those are pretty useless in general. They may help reduce velocity of contaminated air so sick people may be less likely to transmit particles but that’s about it.

Get the vaccine. Don’t get the vaccine. I don’t care; it’s your call—certainly none of my business.
Do what you need to do, and look after yourself.

This is exactly the mindset everyone should have! Make an informed choice and weigh your Covid risk factors vs what you factor in from the vaccine and tend to yourself(and those you are responsible for) then let others make their decisions for themselves.

This is what I hate about social media, it usually expresses a brief, ambiguous message.

So, am I to believe that none of these “young”, “healthy”, people had co-morbidities?

These statements are so disingenuous, just go to a shopping center or the beach and you can see the problem of obesity in this country. There is also significant evidence of an increase in type 2 diabetes over the last few decades.

Because of our, “don’t fat shame” culture, we aren’t willing to say what really puts people at risk for death and severe symptoms from Covid.

Nope

My wife is a respiratory therapist there and works in the covid unit. She's says the cases have increased but it's not a major surge, at least not at the moment. She also says a good amount of the covid patients have been vaccinated.

Call it what you want. I was told they had 10 covid patients 3 weeks ago and now its 48. They are concerned about that trend.

And again, was simply told that 98% of their covid hospitalizations are unvaccinated.

WBRZ reached out to LDH for a breakdown of the vaccines taken in those cases. They said they do track it but declined to release that information.

The Louisiana Department of Health could clear that all up but they are declining to release the data.

If you really want me to get the vaccine (and i am not totally against it per se) then give me actual facts and stop making everything hyperbole and fear. Tell me what is really going on so that I can make an educated and accurate assessment of risk vs. reward. If they did that, they would get more compliance. They have been everything but forthcoming and non-political since day 1.

How many died? How many released? Ask your friend.
