quote:I saw most of Yes when I saw Anderson, Bruford, Wakeman and Howe at the Wolftrap near DC. Chris Squire wasn't part of it for some reason. I never wanted to see 80's Yes. They were okay, but I liked Wakeman and Howe.
Yes
Clapton is one I could have seen more than once but didn't.

Still making excellent music and tour frequently, better see them soon though as age will have to catch them sometime. Also someone else listed Saxon, saw them with Priest 2018, never heard them announce a retirement.

Number one on my list would be Ronnie James Dio.
I saw him for you and I'll say you missed out. It was the Magika tour but Dude put on an excellent show.

STP with Weiland as well
I actually went to see them but linkin park opened and I tried to go back stage to meet the band. I ended up missing the whole set. I was a dumb 15 year old kid and still regret it.

Nirvana - they played at UNO on a weeknight in late 93. I just figured I would catch them at Lollapalooza 94.

Lot of the ones already mentioned but also Oasis. Got into those cocky fricks a lot more after they broke up and I was a bit older.
Saw STP at a casino in the desert east of San Diego in 2009. It was a pretty sterile outdoor venue but Scott still brought that shite.
STP at voodoo around 2000 was absolutely incredible and converted my friend on the spot who always just thought they were ok.

#1 Van Halen
EVH is my idol and when they brought Dave back and came through NOLA I was a fool to miss it, especially now knowing I'll never get to see Eddie live again.
#2 Roger Waters
Again, when he came through NOLA I was a fool to miss it. My brother and sister went and I kick myself for not going.
