New Orleans East.

Brand new architecture, great schools, loads to do, great restaurants etc.

I grew up in Laplace and moved to Gonzales about 4 months ago. Best decision I’ve ever made

Mandeville, but what place is best for you depends a lot on your age, family situation, hobbies, job location, salary, etc.

Depending on your situation, other places like Uptown, Madisonville, Hammond, Bay St. Louis, Covington, Old Metairie, Harrahan, or even St. Amant could be best for you.

Why would you want to live close to New Orleans?

I always thought Thibodaux was a good central location.
About an hour to the coast/GI, hour to Nola, and an hour to BR.

Oh I absolutely do not. Silly company that is paying me far more than I’m worth stipulates I’m within an hour. Young family, ball and chain is a teacher, and 4 year old baw!
