Stop trying so hard. Focus on your own happiness. When they see how happy and confident you are without others attention and approval, they will be drawn to you. Men who are clingy, needy, and perpetually available don't make girls wet down there.

All you need to do is be fricking nice. And pay attention to everything she says. Remembering her dog's ailment or little sister's birthday she invited you to goes much farther than the jeans or boots you wear. And if they don't, you don't want her.
Mike's got the key to life figured out here. Just being a "normal" guy that's a gentleman in public and has a sense of humor will score you major points these days.
"Men" come in such shitty and unattractive varieties now that even being a "normal" guy is a leg up on the rest of the field.

I’ve never been an OT baller and consider myself average. Mid 50’s now and married for 25 years. I’ve always seemed to get pretty women , my wife is probably one of the more beautiful women around here for her age( mid 50’s also, no pics). I’ve always been somewhat funny and always nice I think… that’s always worked for me

Fr- when I was single I decided to be the guy you describe. I wasn't nearly as insecure as the OP, but I could use some polishing. Planned everything I was going to say and do at an upcoming party. Then, about 5 days before, I felt this little spot on my lip. Biggest fever blister ever.....ended up staying in a corner and only talking to close friends.
