I can’t see how they justify paying these salaries.
Plenty of pretty faces that want to be on TV. Find one with talent on camera and move on. Rinse and repeat when the next one gets too expensive.

The CEO stumbled and stuttered and then an HR director jumped and explained “the board has always interviewed a broad and diverse talent pool. Those selected were voted in by the shareholders and executives were filled based in performance and qualifications.”

Then they'll either let things die down until next NBA season and try and forget like it ever happen or ESPN will Beadle her and just pay her to not work for the remainder of her contract.
It's going to be tough to comeback from this even if Maria Taylor is not renewed, considering it seems like Rose and Woj are pissed at her and they aren't going anywhere.

Acted like the chick that every 40-year-old sports dude would wife. Got guaranteed 7-figure deals from ESPN, NBC and ESPN again, then started being a problem child and forced herself into an early retirement and set for life.
