One thing is for certain, Woodward has played the media like a fiddle.

Not sure about an official extension, but here’s a recent tweet from a news station there.

You do realize that he signed the poster the woman is holding, not a contract right........

I mean, it just seems like a basic search. Probably tested the waters with a lot of guys. Maybe threw some numbers at Vitello. Bianco and Godwin being reported as the front runners may have been a purposeful leak. Maybe they were back ups. If that’s true, that was a good move. The latest story about the three finalists appears to be accurate. If by some miracle it turned out to be vitello or Corbin then I will agree with you.

Where have you heard anything about TN telling recruits he’s leaving? Hell he’s gotten two blue chip recruits and picked up a transfer pitcher, and rumors of adding the catcher from KY that just entered the portal. That’s exactly the opposite of telling recruits he’s leaving.

To be fair, it would have been O'Sullivan by now had circumstances in FL been a little different

Vitello recruited him out of high school. The kid was teammates Jackson Rutledge, who Vitello got at Arkansas.

I would bet a lot of money that he will go wherever Vitello is.

They are following Elander who might be the best catching coach around.

They weren't wrong on Sully or Bianco...those two guys backed out

I think I read somewhere that the kid’s dad is close with Tony too. Point of my post was that there’s no way people from “his side” were telling recruits he’s leaving when he/they are actively adding blue chip prospects and transfers to the roster. He or Sexton might have(and still could be) having discussions with LSU, but no one is telling these kids he’s leaving.

Lol
Neither were offered the job. If sully could keep his dick in his pants he would be LSU's coach right now

I've already said too much so moving on from this topic.

What has UT offered VT for assistant coaches salaries? This is where LSU has the biggest competitive edge.

People in hell want some ice water, too. As you can see, what the fan's want & get, are generally 2 different things.

I think we have other advantages as well.

FWIW, I only disagreed with the part of your other post I highlighted.

Godwin and Bianco are equal hires and both are better hires than Johnson. All 3 of these are better hire than Vitello. Vitello hasn't proven anything and is just the hot name. Corbin is proven and would be a good hire although he is old and set in his ways also would be harder for him to change how he recruits with all the advantages he had at Vanderbilt. Wish Cannizaro was an option the kids play for this guy. Also think O'Conner and McDonell are basically the same type hire and would do well.
