Best pizza in the state ….Diversion Pizza…prove me wrong

Wow, have been hearing lots of chatter about diversion pizza in Maurpeaus and do know the owner so with that out of the way, went for the first time tonight, it is as advertised, got some cheese sticks with feta and a pick six pizza. The crust is what makes it great, not a thin crust and not a thick pan crust but right in between with a crispy bottom and doughy yeasty texture and slight fermented flavor, the crust is what separates it from all the others. In addition the sauce (I got red) was on point and all the toppings were high quality and well proportioned. Saw some salads coming out the kitchen and they looked great as well

i'm gonna make a trip soon. the crust isn't quite my favorite style, but the reviews are all exceptional so I feel obligated to go try it.

OK, is there a joke I'm missing here, or is this place really that good? I don't want to drive 45 minutes and then be disappointed.

It seems like an awful lot of hype. I've never tried it, so I can't say. The pictures look OK, but I wouldn't have been compelled to try it based on the pics. (from Yelp)
