I'm a Specialized guy and I like mine.
But it's all I've ever worn so I have no real reference point to other brands.

What's everyone riding?
Sporting an old (2011ish) Specialized Roubaix I found on facebook last year.

Love the Roubaix. Carbon version will likely be my next ride. I ride an Aluminum Specialized Diverge now. Gravel bike per se, but pretty similar to the Roubaix. I have road tires on it. As far as bibs, I’m a fan of Castelli. Decent prices too.
Hit St Francisville for some work today. 100 degree feels like when we finished up. Fell about half short on my fueling, paid for it at the end.

Nice ride, Roots.
I have a 2019 Cervelo P2 I snagged on sale last spring. Love that bike

Nice work man.
On July 23 I will attend my funeral in Eureka Springs, AR. 64mi Gran Fondo, 3500ish ft of elev gain
I ride a 2009 Fuji CCR Carbon that I picked up for a steal at $300. Threw some new bars on it and a pair of Superteams.
I think next year I will upgrade to a Canyon Ultimate and my wife to the Canyon Aeromax since she is into triathlons.

Lot of fancy bikes here, allow me to wtf this up a bit. Here is my noble steed.
1997 Trek Mountain Track 850 turned ultimate klunker gravel bikey thing.
I posted about it a while back when I first got it. Only thing left on it that is OEM is the headset and rear derailleur. Next time it’s due for a re-cabling I may swap the stem, new front brake cable hangar, and ditch the bar end/oem STX derailleur for a Microshift advent 1x9 setup.
I’ve spent way more than I should, but when I got this thing I knew 0 about bikes. Now I can do most of the wrenching myself provided I have the right tool(s). Really fun learning experience and great bike for navigating New Orleans streets. Obviously I don’t do any serious road riding, but just wanted to share because I like talking bikes.
ETA: obligatory #steelisreal and #26aintdead

I've got a kind of specific question if anyone can help. Does anyone wear Specialized shoes? I found a pair in size 43.5, which is what I wear in Diadora, but I want to make sure it's consistent. Size 10 running shoe if that helps.

Does anyone have any experience with Tailwinds Nutrition recovery shake mix? I am trying to get more protein and carbs and stay hydrated.

I have a pair and also wear a 10 in running shoes. Mine are 9.6. They are Torch 9.0 I think?

Glad you reminded me, could have used some of this yesterday. I have some and used to use it for running, but I couldn't ever justify the calories. Now that I'm into long(er) cycling I need to dig it out. It's legit. No bloat.

I love a good frankenbike. I have mad respect for people who can turn old frames into super versatile bikes like this.

It’s honestly easier than it looks. If you’re ever looking for a little side project, I highly recommend getting on FB or Craigslist and sourcing an old steel mountain bike or hybrid frame and restoring it or making it into a frankenbike. The only drawback is parts scarcity and inflation of old frame prices, but every now and then a gem will show up. Also a lot of cheap parts and tools on Amazon. Watched a lot of YouTube (Spindat and OldShovel) and read a lot of Reddit (r/bikewrench and r/xbiking) to learn what works and what doesn’t.
