One that stuck with me was a Wes Davis HR that hit the apartments over the left field wall of the old box.

1986. Being ranked #1 for the first time. And making their first college world series

I have no memories of the actual games until about the 93 season. My earliest memory is getting checked out of school by dad to go to a day game. Most common early memories are playing paper cup baseball on the side of the bleachers.
Eta: WM homer is definitely the first that really stuck with me. I've posted before that I listened to it with over 100 other 14-15 year olds during driver's ed on campus. Was awesome

Cresse’s bombs were beautiful. He hit a few to the marriage apartments.
Opposing team: Will Clark’s bomb. That ball I think landed in the Lot A parking lot

Warren Morris HR. I was 9.

This. The Warren Morris game. Even at that age I knew we were playing for a championship so I must have still followed the games up until then, but my first IRL technicolor recollection I can describe from memory was this game

1977. Used to do homework in the stands during daytime weekday games. Nobody there. Peaceful.

One day in 1975 when I was a freshman instead of going in the library to study on a beautiful sunny day I decided to go find an outdoor spot where I could sit and do a lot of reading that I had to do.
I got in my car and I headed towards the levee intending to find a spot along there and as I passed Alex box Stadium I noticed The gates were open and several cars were parked in front. I thought I would go check it out and see if I could find a good spot in the stadium.
When I got out the car I heard the crack of a bat and thought oh they must be practicing. So I went in and got in the stands and looked in the field and they were actually playing a game. There might have been 15 people sitting behind home plate and me at the top along the first baseline.
It turned out to be a nice quiet relaxing spot to do my reading.
And that is my first memory of LSU baseball.

Late 1980's sitting in the right field aluminum bleachers watching hot LSU college girls walk up and down the steps at the old Alex Box. I was in my early teens so forgive me.
I loved the box back in those days and we were becoming a national powerhouse so nothing but great memories for me.

Early 80's going with my aunt and there was not may people in the stands. Like probably just the the players parents.
Then when things started rocking the tailgates with Big Rick (RIP) right outside the stadium. Just didn't get any better than those days.

Not really a notable play but first memory is of my dad catching a screaming line drive foul ball down the third base bleachers with his bare hand. I thought he was the coolest dad in the stadium after that…still do!

At a game with my dad late 80s, and had to leave early because my mom didn't want me out late. As we were crossing Nicholson to get to the car, Joey Belle was up and we were down in the bottom of the ninth with runners on. I don't think it was down by 3, grand slam, but it was a walkoff HR. To RF where he often went, and we could see the ball coming, and were both thinking we were going to get that ball. Nope, some car driving down Nicholson must have seen it, an old 2-door Oldsmobile, and he stops right where it's coming, it hits the road and then his car but doesn't go far, and he gets out and gets the ball. We were like, damn. Well, that was neat.

i think it was 93 wichita state (i was 7). i remember watching the game on the couch and us winning, but that was about it. wish i still had that demeanor and innocence watching games and not dropping f bombs and cussing out entire college towns just because
