Reyzelman has a 33K% in 12.2 IP for Harwich. He’s faced 48 batters. I’d imagine he has another start coming soon.

Baseball America early top 25 has LSU at #10
Of course top 10 includes ole miss, fla, miss st, ark and vandy, tenn is further down
Preseason #1 is Texas

Tripp Hadad decent player, don’t see immediate impact from him though
Wonder if that means Joubert is not coming now

That early season game against Texas should be fun.

I don’t think Haddad affects Jobert.

Love the time you put into this thread!
What is the word on Mo Hampton. He been in the transfer portal for awhile and has signed with another college. He also didn’t get drafted in the 2021 MLB DRAFT.
THANKS AGAIN

I’ll do my best to pass on any observations but the announcers on this stream are probably college interns and the camera angles are your basic travel ball dad setup, go pro on the back net kind of thing.

Reyzelman through 2, 1H 0R 3K. He’s facing Bourne on the road who has the best record in the league at 21-3-3.

It would be kind of cool for a espn u to do a cape league game of the week.

I agree but we can barely get ESPN to show regular season college baseball. The way to big networks just ignore the sport drives me insane.

Search Bourne Braves on YouTube.

Through 4, 2H 1BB 0R 6K. Again, can’t see a lot from this view but they haven’t been able to get on his FB so far. I missed the first inning but the only hard hit balls I’ve seen were a line drive single to LF from a left handed hitter on a full count FB, and that was after a close pitch on the inside corner was called a ball and everyone on the field thought it was a strike. The next batter hit the first pitch hard to LF for an out.

Faced some adversity and gave up 2 runs in the 5th.

Lead off HR on a 3-1 count
HBP
1B
Sac bunt inexplicably turned 1B after the catcher took too much time on the throw to 1st.

Then with bases loaded no outs got a weak tapper back to the mound for a 1-2 putout, then a 3-6 FC (scored runner from 3rd) and the SS threw home to get the second runner trying to score from 2nd 6-2.

Line through 5, 5H 1BB 1HBP 2ER 6K

Two hard hit balls for outs, triple, K in the 6th.

6IP, 6H 1BB 1HBP 2ER 7K

Likely done at 93 pitches, the 5th really ran up his count

ETA: He’s done after 6, in line for the win

Really looking forward to having Reyzelman on our staff, and seeing what Coach J and Kelly can do with him. Thanks for the updates, MOT

It sure feels that way. One month in, and Coach J has already laid a lot of the groundwork for 2022. Next season should be fun to watch.
