Assistant coaches are being worked out without who the head coach is getting leaked out? Highly unlikely and I don’t believe BOS’s are involved with assistant coach hiring

Asst coaches will be Cannizzaro, Blake Dean, Jeff Willis, Javi Sanchez, K Lady, and Mainieri staying on staff to be in charge of pitching changes.

Whether it's approaching football signing day, or a coaching search is ongoing, you can always count on a bunch of people guessing things and starting threads, pretending to actually know inside information.

I wouldn't mind Cannizaro as an assistant. He's a very good hitting coach. But I don't want him running our program. That said, I'm not buying it. Not without the potential HC being leaked as well. And that coach would probably be of the pitching coach expertise variety.

I still think the hold up is because Virginia is still playing. I think if Scott wanted Paul's opinion, I think O'Conner would be what Paul would tell him. I think all these random names being thrown around like, like Pat Casey, was smoke to make sure Virginia didn't get distracted. No matter if he gets it or not, I would bet money he gets/got an interview
