Per Shamit Dua Retweet on Twitter from Cleveland Cavs offseason article written by a Cavs Reporter- Chris Fedor (42k twitter followers)

What would a potential sign and trade for a MLE 6th man look like? Could we work with Toronto and get someone like Gary Trent Jr back if we flip them a second or two? I think they are equal players, but Trent Jr is a borderline elite shooter at times so I’d be willing to give up something to slot him in Hart’s place.

I'm not really sure why a reporter from Cleveland would know this (outside of the Nance connection), but if true it shouldn't come as a surprise after the last few months of the season with the JJ situation, injury, and his comments after the season.
I'm ok with it, especially if we can get anything out of a S&T. I like his hustle and rebounding and we did miss that, but he is a replaceable player.

If we feel we can keep him at a good number, you do it.

We signed his replacement already—for much cheaper.

It takes a special kind of coach to make Josh Hart go from being all NOLA team player to frick this i'm outtie while having the best most enthusiastic young player in the game on roster.

Honestly I would not be upset. We already have Naji who practically the same player and much cheaper. Both Didi and Naji look to be better defenders than Hart. There’s plenty of glue guys in this league that put up the same numbers as hart

You must have said something about his political posts.

I got some decent inside info on Hart. He wants to come back, and as of now it's looking that way.

Pretty sure I have a ton of Pels guys muted on twitter because they post way too much wackjob political stuff.

He'll be back if we want him back. There's not much more to it than that.

Damn now role players are calling out where they want to go

I know I got blocked by one of them (maybe Fisher) last year when he was arguing that we shouldn't have the bubble because it wasn't safe with COVID and we needed to focus on the BLM protests.

Rumors I've heard is that hart is all about himself above all.
He wants the bag, he doesn't care where. His best bet was to hitch it to a rebuild where depth was questionable and he'd get minutes and that's why he was big on wanting to stay.
It's making sense all things considered.
