Breakups really suck.

There really are few worse feelings. Obviously death of a loved one or losing your job probably trump heartbreak.
For a solid 2 months I had a great relationship with someone I connected with on almost all aspects. This was the girl I started seeing after the shenanigans with the divorced chick happened back in April. It was almost too perfect. Our range of conversations covered almost anything and our emotional bond was unlike anything I had felt before. We never had anything but an amazing time together.
Which is probably why she ran at the first sign of trouble in the relationship. We were down on 30A for MDW and I said something really stupid when I was drunk. She wasn't being herself that week due to stress from work and the upcoming trip, and I was a little frustrated that she wasn't really putting out. So I asked point-blank why she hadn't been putting out much lately. For some reason it really struck a nerve with her and she said she didn't feel the same after that.
Ladies of the OT, was this breakup-worthy? I didn't mean it how it came across, but obviously all of the apologies and explanations in the world can't fix how a girl feels. It brought her back to past trauma apparently.
Just sucks knowing I screwed up something wonderful. I had gotten close with her parents and began to do so with some of her friends. I have to live with that now for the foreseeable future.
Downvote and roast me away. Just helps to rant a little bit.

Two months....really? You're sobbing after two months with someone?

2 months
Wasn’t putting out much lately.
The loss of morality in this country is a direct correlation to its decline.

You were naming the kids and she was taking miles of tinder cock. Lesson be learned.

I'm very sorry to hear that. It must be difficult to get through the last 3 weeks of pride month single

Dude.. it was only 2 months

Your threads paint you as incredibly codependent. Maybe try being alone for a while.

Of that small of an issue ran her off after 2 months, you're probably getting the long end of the stick.

Sounds like the connection just wasn't that strong for her, tbh. Good luck.

I'd recommend slowing things down.

That always goes over so well.
