Id implore you to at least read the case for the otherside cotton, everyone who seems to have read it, thinks its alot more questionable about what happened

You are messed up my dude.

So why was he “completely fricked” in court if he was innocent?
What you’re not getting is it is now FACT that he molested that little girl. I don’t know what really happened. You don’t. Hell neither does Casey. The only thing we can go off of is that for years Luke admitted to committing heinous acts against a 4 year old girl. And Pat still played him.
That guy has no place around any program I support and I will support no program that he has a place in.

Once the allegations were brought up, the kid had no choice in court. NONE. Because it would simply be he said/she said. There was no evidence due to the timing of the allegations
So your choice is guaranteed guilty and ruin your entire life, or take a great plea deal that stays sealed

There was no evidence either way, simply her words vs his.

I’ve read it. It’s been since 2018ish but I read it.
It by no means absolves Heimlich of guilt and whether Heimlich did it or not isn’t something we will ever know. What we do know is that he is a registered sex offender who Casey allowed to play for him. That’s not ok. It’s just not.

Okay, glad you at least read it. I came away very unsure about what happened either way.

Only thing I’m sure of is that 100% taking the plea was the right thing to do regardless of innocence or guilt

Ha, I'm out of the loop...when I first saw these headlines/threads, i thought Casey was the pedophile, and I thought, 'That's a non-starter.' But then i realized it's about him playing a star player with legal problems...wow.
I'd never defend the player, but if you're gonna fault the coach for playing the best player he can legally play...take a look in the mirror.

Stop making excuses about why it was ok and just be honest that you don’t care that he allowed a guy who raped his 4 year old niece to play for him.
Nobody raped anyone and he was 13 when she was 4.

I think with a talent like that the Oregon State coaching staff would’ve known all about any legal problems while the kid was 15. Baseball is a small world and a talent that good with problems that bad would’ve been common knowledge amongst his youth teams and leagues. I think it’s very naive to think Casey didn’t know of it and as a matter of fact even Heimlich believed that Casey knew of it.
He was a minor and this was all within his family. There’s a very good chance nobody outside of his family and the Court knew about this at all.

He pled guilty in court to one instance. He later denied the allegations.
quote:per his Wiki taken from The NY Times.
After the conviction was made public in 2017, Heimlich wrote, "I have taken responsibility for my conduct when I was a teenager."[22] However, in 2018, Heimlich denied the allegations, saying that he pleaded guilty to "quickly dispense with the case and for the sake of family relations."

Change one guy retiring for health problems for another guy retirED for health problems. Brilliant strategy, Woody.
Where are you guys getting Pat Casey retired for health problems from? Serious question.
I’ve spent a lot of time researching that today and not once has health ever came up. It was always he’s missing out on stuff, like missing time spent with his kids, spent time talking to his wife rather than being frustrated by things, etc. Never health.

A big NO on Coach Casey! How disappointing at a time when LSU needs youth at the helm of Tiger baseball! Let’s excite our young recruits!

I believe he plead that he DID do it. That's the part that matters here. The record states he took the plea deal, meaning he said he did it. Right? So whether you think he was innocent and just lied to avoid potential worse penalty or not, you have to work with what the record shows. Casey played a dude that shouldn't have been allowed to enroll.

Woody smokescreen. No way you replace a 63 yr. old with a 62 yr. old.
