Well, this is not entirely untrue...but there's a reason for that.
Last summer, I bought my first really well made American flag. Why? Because it appeared half of the country hated America, and I did not want to sit idly by while that happened, so in my own small way I wanted to show that I personally still loved my country.
So, yeah...in that way I'm sure many Americans are currently waving the flag as a "frick You" to those that now seem to hate this place. And if that's politicizing it, or making others feel unwelcome, all the better.
Also, this place make great American made flags!

But not for the reasons she thinks. Not because she's black. Because she's a radical individual trying to impose tyranny on citizens of this country. She's useless and subversive and we place no value on useless and subversive people. I'm re-thinking my love for the US flag, too, but, it's because today it stands for Radical Leftist USA, and not a USA that can prosper and serve Freedom and Liberty.
That's why I prefer to display an earlier version of the US flag, because it represents a time before the American Left took over.

I agree, but I think it's time to move past "retaking"
A system in which some majority portion rules over a sizable minority portion - and where they're hatefully divided on every key issue - is a dumb system.
When the differences were subtle, and more importantly when the binds were significant (importance of family, belief in the virtues of the American system, etc.) being in and out of power made a lot more sense. It doesn't make sense now.
