That’s what happens when people get a check from the taxpayers instead of going to work. One would think it’s nothing more than a push for a $15 minimum wage that so far hasn’t been passed.

I have seen lines to get in the ones locally, not sure if they are dine in or just people picking up.

I made egg sandwiches tonight, Texas toast, bacon, cheese 2 fried eggs... great stuff.

Tried to place a to go order this morning at Waffle House on my way to work. Phone was off the hook. I walked in to place an order, there was no wait staff present and only one cook doing absolutely everything to try to serve 10 people that were inside. Cook said all the wait staff won’t come back and they can’t get anyone new so they were probably going to close.

Still waiting for Gov Honor Chode to announce he’s cutting the federal unemployment anytime now so these frickers on the tit will go back to work

Any convenience store... one of those slim jim/Colby Jack cheese stick combo packs and a short stack of plain pringles. Add your preferred sweet tea and enjoy. Wouldn't imagine its very healthy but man what a celebration of diverse flavors and textures

As I recall the OP is railroad conductor so restaurants being closed that are normally open is a real pain the arse. On call 7/24 so one doesn't always get to eat at a normal hour.

Holidays like Thanksgiving/Christmas/New Years really suck when you are stuck at the away from home terminal and hardly anyplace is open.

I'm actually not that upset about this. If you don't have food at your house to eat at night then you fricked up.

In fairness, OP goes into work at 11pm. I would be pretty peeved if I couldn't find any food available at 7am.

Went to bonnaroo farms for a concert. Got home at 12:05. Everything was closed. Dominos answered the phone and I said hey I want to order a pizza. Ole girl said sorry we are closed. Wtf don't answer the dam phone. Even waffle house was closed.
Not enough help. Should change in the next 6 months (prolly sooner) tho once the unemployment extra dollars stop.

Just like not being open for dine in. They are making lots of money and spending less on salaries.

Stopped at Bojangles this morning to grab a biscuit to eat at the office. They had signs with stating that due to a staff shortage, they were only going to be open from 6 am-3pm for the foreseeable future. I work in Macon, Ga and predominantly Africa America area. So no fried chicken on a Friday night probably gonna have some people pissed off.

I just stayed at the Holiday Inn in Perry and stopped at Buccees in Warner Robins. Good kolaches and strong sandwich selection. I also ate at Jamaican Jerk and it was quite good in the hood.

Bought this thing that cools and helps to keep food fresh, I go to a building where they sell items to put in this thing, and its always there when I need something to eat. I have this other device that heats it to perfection.

I can share the details if y'all get in a pinch.

Literally everyone here. It's not that subtle.
