Nice false equivalency of an apparent coordinated ARMED attack by foreign terrorists resulting in the deaths of a US Ambassador and three other US citizens as a result of utter incompetence and security lapses at the highest levels of government (which is accountable to the citizens)
VERSUS
~400 unarmed Americans, most of whom went on an arguably unauthorized tour of the Capital (despite evidence of being invited in by security), taking selfies as congressmen hid from the citizens and which resulted in the unjustified killing of a US Veteran. Oh, and a couple of knuckleheads (possibly leftist plants) broke some windows.
But sure, investigate away.

You don't really want to get into a transitive property debate like this, do you?? Because if so we may as well mention that there was decisively more investigation of the politically motivated allegations regarding "Trump-Russia collusion" than either/both of the situations referenced in your OP.
