I've seriously considered burning trees down to get mockingbirds to shut the frick up at 3 in the morning. I hate those fricking things so very, very much.

This happened several years ago at my parents' house. Redtail hawk was surveying his territory in a tree next to their pond, just minding his on business and there were 3 mockingbirds flying around harassing him. He finally flew over the pond as they continued their harassment and that hawk was able to grab one and flew off with that mockingbird in his talons. It was an awesome sight. But it didnt stop the mockingbirds from harassingly him every now and then. Mocking birds are a-holes and bullies for sure
