Wife was attacked on Monday at Racetrac

This past Monday 5/17/2021 at 7:30am my wife was pumping gas at the Old Hammond Racetrac before dropping the kids off to school. Some dude came up behind her and hit her in the head with a pipe. She dropped the gas pump which got gas all over her, the car, and ground. She is screaming for help and turned to see a guy running away towards Billy Herroman's. As she is holding her head screaming another dude is driving into the gas station telling her to call 911. (He never stopped). She looks around to see a white girl with greenish/blue hair standing at the next pump with no car eyeballing her. Then the girl takes off across Old Hammond towards the Dollar Store. My wife calls 911 and me. Of course I beat the cops there. The police looks at her head and says " oh that's not bad" then walks to the next pump and talks to the dude about cutting grass. One officer took her statement. The EMT checks her out and says they can't see a concussion but she can go to the ER (which she does and gets a ctscan). She is fine now except for the bruising and emotional damage. It could have been much worse.
But now we have been trying to get the tapes from Racetrac who will not help. We have been trying to get the police to get the tapes. They will not help. They aren't even sure they will take the case. The BRPD has been giving my wife the run around by calling different numbers. Each person is saying something different. Racetrac employees won't help. Racetrac corporate won't help. So why even post this? Well for one I'm pissed.
And since no one will help at least I will put this out there for you all. Watch your back. I failed as a husband obviously. ***edited sentence (I thought I told her not to have her back turned at the pump)****
PS. Let me know if you see anyone with blue/green hair around the Old Hammond/Sherwood area. I'd like to have a discussion with them. Thanks
