I like the idea of ordering a new truck and someone driving it up to my front door but I’m not trying to overpay. What’s the OTs experience?

Seems like it's more comparable to a more modern Carmax

I can't speak to buying from them, but selling to them was the easiest damn thing ever and they offered me 5 thousand more than anyone else.

Do they drop off the vehicle to test drive & inspect?

Yes. Except their service department sucks

Carvana offered me less for my vehicle than a dealership did on a trade in, and the vehicle I wanted was more expensive than the local dealership.

Seems convenient, but I had an easy quick experience at said dealer.

You might pay a bit more buying from them, because they gave me the best offer by far for my vehicle. So their strategy seems to be a little different than Carmax, who low-balled my vehicle by a lot.

Carvana exceeded all other offers by a whole lot, for what that's worth.

The OT loves to overpay for vehicles.

Had a great experience buying from carvana. Better deal than anything Carmax had to offer and delivery was free (I was planning on picking it up until I learned that they would do it for no charge)

Bought one two months ago, great experience. Offered me more than anyone else for trade-in, and new purchase was right in line with other comparables.

Also, there was a rock chip on windshield, and a small dent on backside fender that wasn't disclosed on website. Their service dept was great, I took it to the body shop of my choice and they paid the bill ($2500) to replace windshield and rear panel and door replacement.

Just bought my wife's Infiniti on Carvana. Traded in a GMC Yukon.

Process was painless. No haggling. Contracts are all signed via docusign. Very clear pricing and transparency on fees. We got quote back for our trade-in within minutes.

They delivered and picked up vehicle on same day.

I'd do it again in a heart beat.

You could get a dealership to provide the same service at a much lower price. Carvana and Carmax both charge a premium for their service but most dealership online departments do the same or similar now.
