Squire is one of the most affordable CC’s in the state. With this low price you get a top notch driving range, putting/chipping area, and a golf course that is in very good shape most of the time.

What exactly is overrated?

I said Squire was one of the most affordable clubs in the state.

There’s not a nicer club in Louisiana at Squires price.

I’m hoping to hear this list as well.

I’ve played them all. Dozens of times.

Regarding (1), squire competes with the best.

Now for (2), there is less opportunity to dick suck rich and famous people. I just didn’t think TD members would be so disappointed by this.

Meant more of the games, practice facilities, and food.. do not care to much to rub elbows with celebrities.

The frick? How would that ever come up? The member will be paying the dues every month. It’s not like we would mail the bill with 4 different checks in the envelope. Jesus, has venmo made it to Ruston yet? Basically, it’s a way for people to send money to other people via an app.

We’re talking about someone who comes out 2-4 times a year and brings 3-4 guests each time. Sounds like a dream member to me.

I'm waiting to hear which clubs are better than Squire Creek....looks like those who talk thrash can't back it up....if you think BRCC/MCC/OakburneCC/CCofLA are in the same league as Squire Creek up probably can't pass a drug screen...You realize that about 35% of Squire Creeks membership is from the Dallas area...people that come in on Thursday and play Thurs afternoon, Friday and Sat then go back home on Sat afternoon....I played with a member last Thursday...Mike Pence played there in afternoon ahead of a speaking engagement at the club that nite....the member I played with said that 4 groups in front of us where all Dallas people that he recognized and said they come 1-2 times a month for 3 days and stay on property and eat and drink in club..much cheaper that belonging to DAC/Preston Trails/Colonial/Royal Oaks...

I’m going to add to that number shortly. See you out there. Can’t wait to get paired up with mingo.

I have never played Squire Creek, but have played BRCC and some other “top courses” in Louisiana. Have yet to see a course in LA top Mystic Creek in El Dorado, Arkansas.

Squire is the most similar to Mystic as far as topography. Not as big of a ball park but the greens are much more severe

U can get a group to go to Mystic and play 3 rounds of golf and stay 2 nites at the downtown Haywood El Dorado a Hilton Collection Hotel for 309 per person dbl occupancy ...eat some good food at the new club house and drink some good whiskey...hellva good weekend..
