Initiation I believe is the same and I think it's only $150/month

They just moved to no cart fees a couple of months ago as well

What is the standard initiation fee?

It says discounted initiation and dues on the site.

I know someone that paid, I think 4k, in the last year or so, but that was also a junior membership and I think they were running a special as well.

It's not more than 10k, I can tell you that for sure

How strict are they on the guest policy?

It says that a guest can only play 5 times a year and once every 60 days. But that doesn't really make sense if you're staying at the cottages. EX I have some guests come in for a weekend and we stay at the cottage - they can only play 1 day?

Non members can play with a fire caddy. I would assume that if you stay in the cottages you can play multiple days as I know people that have done that, but I wasn't aware of the policy you posted.

I've played there multiple days in a row with members, but I know both of the pros.

It’s posted on the website. My boss just did the same thing. Stayed at the cottages and played multiple days.

That’s the only way to do it, nothing else worth seeing remotely close to there

Is that a pretty standard club price in that part of the country?

That is, insanely cheap. I don’t think there’s a club within an hour of where I live that’s less than double that

That's the out of town rate. 100 miles or more away I believe

The guy that built the course, James Davidson, allegedly was told by his cpa at some point that Squire’s Creek was losing about $1 million a year. His reply was that he was not too concerned about that because he would not be around for a hundred more years.

And squire is also in the middle of nowhere with Ruston being the closest "Big" city. they can't charge monster initiation fees because there just aren't enough people for it.

I mean, it's essentially in Ruston. It's within an hour from Monroe and Shreveport so it's got a couple hundred thousand people in potential members. It's not like it's in Many or some shite

Shreveport is about the same distance from Many as it is from Squire creek.

It also helps when your owner can give two shits whether or not it is profitable.
