I am feeling a RUN. This is not gas and I am sober at 3pm on a Monday afternoon. This team in the words of the late great Stephen Robert Irwin is the definition of “danga, danga, DANGA.” We WILL sweep Aggie in their bullshite over-rated ice cream stadium this weekend. We will be playing on Sunday in Hoover. After those 2 are locked up, Every regional host in America will be praying to their gods/the universe that the LSU Tigers do not land in their bracket. Two words: TRE frickING MORGAN.

Do we have an elite starting 3? No. But we’ve got dudes. Does 85% of the fan base want the HC shite canned? frick yes they do. Do we have an elite bullpen? No. But we’ve got Blake fricking Money. Do we have a cold blooded killer closer? Give me the Fontenot pointing to the LSU on his jersey when HE DOES have is stuff over anyone. Do we have a SOLID mix of under and upperclassmen capable of beating ANYONE in the country 2 out of 3 days in a row? The answer is a resounding YES and they are getting hotter and hotter. Do we HIT DINGERS???? You bet your sweet arse we hit fricking 400 foot dongs on THE REG. I’ve got two words: GAVIN fricking DUGAS. We are 7-7 against the top 15 teams in the country (Arky, State, Vandy, Ole Miss, Tech) and that Tennessee series was a JOKE.

We may not win it all this year. But this team does NOT QUIT and that’s something YOU CANNOT TEACH nor try and damn predict at what point this season is going to end. We are about to go on a historical run that will not only expand our Wikipedia content but more importantly continue to remind the rest of this conference who TF we are, that we aren’t going anywhere. 4 words. DYLAN MF Crews. Now let’s go win the whole damn thing. Eh?? Eh????

Man I am so stoked for Hilliard. Kid played a big role as a freshman, got hurt, rode the bench for a bit, and now right back as the Sunday starter. He could've quit or transferred but he stuck it out and he's a key part of this team down the home stretch.

Bianco is just a gamer. Ups and downs but I have confidence in his glove and he gets timely hits.

My one question is what to do about DH down the stretch.. do they stick with Beloso? I might go with some combination of Arnold/Sanford/whoever is hot

I would argue Morgan/Crews/Dugas/Doughty is about as potent a 1-4 as you're going to find.

Obviously, it's reasonably unlikely that these 3 play as well as they have recently going forward. But, this isn't a small stretch. It's been good play from them for multiple weekends.

Other things that could help LSU make a run...

* Labas returns to form from 4 weekends ago (sorely needed)
* Doughty becomes very hot (showing signs)
* ONE pitcher cements the bridge spot in the bullpen (least likely)

Please add up our wins and losses against those teams and let me know what you come up with HOSS.

ETA: ahhh frick me I forgot we dropped game 3 to vandy 5-4. I suck at recollection not math, which is better than just overall sucking like you. Lester “suck arse at everything” Earl.

Whatever my point is 7-7 sounds better and like 5 of our losses against top 15 teams were by 1-2 runs and frick the haters let’s ride.

This thread is in response to the assholes that act like we have fallen to the depths of despair and how all these other programs have surpassed us so much it’s “embarrassing.”

We haven’t lost a series to a team like MIZZOU that the almighty Miss St. just did. We have lost some VERY close games against some teams with the #2 SOS in the country.

The thread has an invisible shield around it from the chicken little poons. Anybody saying this team/program is finished/irrelevant or on its way to either will be ignored or cold cocked like a drunken idiot in a tiger land median.

Our baseball program as of late reminds me a lot of how Syracuse or UCLA have been in basketball recently. Kinda play like shite during the season but then ending up turning it on in the last few weeks and going on a nice postseason run. Hope the upward trend continues over the next month.

I think you mean “the RUNS.” Plural. It’s okay, common mistake.

Bianco and Hilliard sure did pick the best time to play their best! As far as pitching emergence, how about Coleman? He's got the stuff. Floyd looked good, and DEFINITELY has the stuff, if they let him spin a breaking ball. Edwards and Helmer have looked pretty good all year. I could see us making a good little run with the dudes mentioned. The tourney always requires guys to step up who haven't shown much all year.

I also have a feeling we win a regional. Someone is gonna overlook us, because we've underachieved, and not see that we're playing our best right now and we get it done. ESPECIALLY if it's Tech lol.

Who would have thought he would only have one more homer than Gio right now?
It’d be nice to have another left handed bat in the lineup, but Belosos hot streak looks like it’s come and gone like a bottle rocket. (The little moon travelers like we used to throw)

Sanford has got some run, got the big hit the other day. I'd give him a few abs.

He’s about the eighth best pitcher in our bullpen. He might develop into someone we can count on next year, but for now, If we’re relying on Money we DO NOT have a run in us.
