Based on his overall defensive potential he will be inserted into the lineup as a defensive enforcer and rebounder.

Wade likes to play his SF as our def stopper and help rebounders. See Shavon Coleman, Charles Mannin, Marlon, etc

Where do you think he ends up?

I wonder if will wade is going to change up his assistants.

I wouldn't hire this guy but i do think he needs to upgrade his assistants.

Curious if you believe that guy would be an "Upgrade"?

No way I would want that guy in the program.
Would you take a phone call from him, knowing all calls are recorded.

Kevin Nickleberry has strong ties to metro DC and Virginia. He was a big reason LSU was able to sign Reid (Richmond) and Murray (Baltimore). That area produces good talent (including Oak Hill Academy players from other states). Right now LSU is very much a player there grabbing arguably the two best players from the state of Virginia in the last two classes.

Armstrong (though I loathe his defense) recruits very well in the southeast (Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, Florida). He was almost solely responsible for getting Watford to LSU. He was also big in helping bring Alex Fudge to LSU out of Jacksonville.

I don't think Wade needs to "upgrade" the assistants as much as there just needs to be a change from the top (Wade) in their defensive philosophy

My guess is either Illinois or Bryant. Will just promoted Nickleberry 2 years ago when Heair left. There is a LOT of talent up here (I am in Richmond). Besides Reid there is another 7 footer from here that signed with Louisville. And Isaiah Todd (6-10) power forward, just competed in the G League. Hyatt played at the Miller School in Charlottesville for 2 years prior to LSU. PG Dug McDaniel, who we are going after pretty hard, plays at Paul IV in Northern VA. Tasmin got promoted when Will took over after Johnny left. I think we have a good staff. Taz helps recruit Louisiana and he pulled Mwani in from Vegas. Now that we finally have a legit center i expect us to press a lot more. I think you will see a style similar to Havoc that VCU ran when Will was an assistant and as HC.

I said it in a different way. (before we got an Efton) This team should be deep and athletic. You could run in a whole 2nd team---Gaines, LeBlanc, and Fudge at least---to up tempo the snot out of em'. Good thing about playing the press is you practice against it. The coaches will have the guys in the back recognizing where the ball is and moving to where it could go. A minimum of easy lobs/3's.
I'm stoked about the possibilities.

Will and Shaka created it together at VCU. Then Will ran it as the HC at VCU after Shaka left.

Is Mitchell still in play? I think LSU will not know until this week about Days, maybe they already know.

Also shout out to Dirk Nowitzki. I think a case can be made that he’s the GOAT European basketball player.

Is Mitchell ever going to make a decision?

At this point, I would be very surprised if he chooses LSU.
