Bitch, I don’t feel entitled to that shite at all. In fact, I was quite clear in that thread that it’s my wife’s, not mine. But by all means carry on with your misleading comments to try and make yourself look good.

It's not hers either, retard, that's the point. It's theirs, and they may give it to you when they die if you stop being a little poonan

The thread is literally centered around the fact that it will be hers one day but not now, dumbass. And it’ll never be mine. You really are special.

Although car prices are pretty easily determined by searching online, I still think it's tacky. Wife and I built our house about 7 years ago. Shortly after completed, my brother and SIL visited from out of town. My SIL asked me how much we spent building the house. I thought it was extremely tacky. I just shrugged it off and told her I had no idea, the wife (who was out of the room at the time) handled all of that. Fortunately she didn't follow up when the wife came back in the room. I think she could tell I found the question tacky.

Will it? They may buy a boat that you aren't invited to go on with it

It isn't hard to look up what a car should cost. I see it as questioning their negotiating skills more than questioning their finances. If you got a new Bugatti its a pretty safe bet you burned through some cash. If you got a 2003 Honda Accord, chances are it didn't set you back too much

No matter what it is, my MIL will ask us how much we paid. I’ve never met someone as obsessed with the cost of goods as her; it’s the strangest trait and the only negative one my in-laws have. They’re otherwise both fantastic.

Doesn’t matter if it’s a carton of eggs or a new vehicle, she’ll pester and pester until I snap and say “that’s enough, and none of your business”.

It depends. If they are in the market for a vehicle and possibly looking at that model... not tacky. If they are just asking because they are snoops... tacky.

I don't think it's tacky to ask. It's only tacky when you push for them to answer your question after you initially decline..

I mean, the market price for both new and used vehicles is pretty damn easy to come by

I think it's tacky. The closest I came to to telling was when I bought my '18 Silverado a few years ago. The '19's, with their new body style, were out, and the dealer was trying to clear their "old" inventory. I told people the sticker was near $50,000 (true), and that I got $15,000 off that price (also true). So I alluded to it, but never got specific as to final price, down payment, monthly note, etc.

Because that's nobody's F'n business except me and my wife.

Also, I was indirectly saying I was not going to let a new body style keep me from saving quite a bit on what was still a new vehicle, even if was technically one year old.
