“So it is conceivable that as we go on, a year or two or more from now, that during certain seasonal periods when you have respiratory-borne viruses like the flu, people might actually elect to wear masks to diminish the likelihood that you’ll spread these respiratory-borne diseases,” Fauci continued.
He also predicted that we won’t see another surge in COVID-19 cases this fall if the majority of Americans get the vaccine.

He's too ignorant to understand how bizarre his reasoning is. We stopped flu season because of masks!!!! We don't know why there have been multiple surges of COVID.
Hey Fauci, it's easier just to admit that all respiratory infections are reported as COVID. Then of course the result will be no flu cases vs. repeated surges of COVID. With or without masks.
