I may have been young and stupid at 16, but I was hardly a child anymore. Also, I don't think the democrats (who have been pushing to drop the voting age to 16) would regard newly minted voters in such a scenario as 'children' either.

She was an overgrown woman-child who was going after another young lady with a knife. The cop saved the life of a black person - just not Ma'Khia.
Now, she's a dead child, and maybe, JUST MAYBE, FOR ONCE, the black community would find its backbone and say, "ya know. This thug culture thing just ain't working out. Perhaps we should try settling our disputes with calm conversations rather than with guns, knives, tables, vehicles, bricks, bats, and whatever else is handy to use as a weapon."

So this checks out. Obviously the Xiden administration feels that the life of the 300lb sista wielding a knife who is moments away from taking the life of another sista is more important than the sista who's life was saved by the cop. This fits perfectly with our present day clown world.
