Awesome. I pretty much have it on every night from the start of east coast games til the end of the west coast games switching between the closest scores

I haven’t watched 1 second of an MLB game since they announced the All-Star game was moving.

Completely lost interest in this dead league.

MLB TV has been streaming for 20 years. It even mentions that in the statement release.

To be fair Bally sports is not on any streaming service just on cable packages which forces you to use mlb tv with a vpn.

So does this mean fans actually dig the long ball and don’t care about strategy?

Its such a strange thing for the Cleveland Indians. Since Terry Francona has been in Cleveland, they are the winningest franchise in MLB, but yet they haven't gotten out of the bottom 3rd in attendance. Yet their viewership on regional sports network and streaming is near the top of the league. I am convinced that MLB should alter the way it schedules games for teams that play in the North. I wouldnt mind if the Tribe played their first 30-40 games on the road. Dead serious! Nobody wants to watch a gam in March or April in Cleveland when its upper 30's and 40's. I would guess most of the players dont either. Load their back half of the schedule with home games. Anyway, good to see people watching baseball!!

I have thought this forever. The Braves have opened the season in Philadelphia more times than they've opened the season in Atlanta over the last 15 years. It is mind bogglingly stupid that the northern teams get so many home games so early.

Absolutely. Especially Cleveland, Minnesota, and Denver should start out on the road.

The NE teams don't seem to have as much of an issue with weather... Chicago might should start on the road as well.

I don't necessarily agree with loading up the back half of the schedule, but more the middle.

This is why I don’t understand why MLB even got involved with the all star game debacle.

They have a chance to really take over a good chunk of viewership, as they’ve managed to stay out of the political stuff relatively well before that.

Baseball is dead. Compare radio numbers from the 1930’s til now. Just keeps dropping.

Record streaming? Give us the overall numbers. Streaming is more popular in all sports and will continue to set records as traditional cable is consumed less.

And yet, MLB refuses to work it out with the teams and their networks to lift local blackouts and allow in-market streaming on MLB.TV. MLB’s greed knows no bounds.
