The fallout in law enforcement as a result of all of this anti-cop garbage.

What’s going to happen when all the good cops walk away from their jobs because it’s just too much, knowing full well that nobody has their back and they are just cannon fodder and patsies that politicians throw under the bus, and all we are left with is the gristle on the ground, the truly bad apples in law enforcement?
Yeah, there’s bad people in all professions and walks of life. We all get it, but how much worse will it be when all we are left with are those who are simply not suited to be on the police force but do it for ego or because they can’t get anything else, the people who really need to get out of the profession? How about when police forces can attract nobody else but bad apples to join the force because nobody wants to put themselves in that precarious position anymore? More specifically, how much worse will those inner city neighborhoods riddled with crime be then?

Aren't you a habitual criminal?

Completely agree. One day people will need protection or EMS and it wont come.

That’s just not true. There are very good people on police forces all over this country, but they don’t make headlines, because they’re doing their job well, and are not super aggressive and taking things over the top. It’s not always the lowest common denominators in life.

We'll go back to the 70s/80s when there were serial killers everywhere and crime was high. People are going to have to die for the sake of wokeness. Marxists did well to ruin America in the 60s too.

Pretty disappointing you’re going to side with the thugs, bro

If you were not a criminal perhaps all of your encounters with police would not be bad.

There will always be good cops and bad cops, it’s the way it will always be. They get trained (bigger city police) on how to handle the public. Sometimes a cop is burnt out and needs to hang it up or gets put in a bad situation, sometimes they are just shitty people. I agree the constant attacks by police on white people is becoming troubling but all you can do is more training

The fall out will be no one left in law enforcement that isn’t loyal to the left. That’s what the goal is.

I work ems, cops have saved my arse too many times to count, I cannot do much of my job without them

I worry that we have two possible outcomes:
1. We go back to 70's/80's with high crime, white flight, inner city drops like a rock.
2. We lose all the good cops, and it becomes the post office with lots of authority and arrest powers. This is a horrible outcome as the interests of the typical employee will not lie with justice or peace, but more with barking orders and being officious. It will not solve crime, and it will detract from peace.
When I was a kid we had a real officious SOB cop nearby. He loved hassling kids in the area for loud car stereos, tint, all kind of chickens***. He could never be bothered to deal with real problems in the area. He ruffled a lot of feathers on good people and never really addressed real problems.

No, this pretty much always existed within the police force.
They just have cameras constantly monitoring them now which puts it in the forefront moreso than back in the day. Everyone and every location has a camera, not to mention body cameras.

these 2 kinda go hand in hand
the high crime of the 70s and 80s led to policies like "stop and frisk"
this is probably the path we are headed down as and this cycle will repeat itself every few decades

Unfortunately, there are several on here that put the worst of society on a pedestal.
Thanks for showing up, you sure won't when anything involves rational thought.

Edit: Not directed at you SirWinston. They know who I'm talking about.

Now replace that with black people, muslims, etc.
Sounds pretty damn stupid now, doesn't it?

It will affect the good people in those neighborhoods more than anyone. Upper-middle class and affluent neighborhoods don't have to worry (with rare exceptions) about their neighbors committing violent crimes. And they will be able to afford private security (likely ex-cops) if need be.
The people in the poorer neighborhoods, most notably, women, will be left with little protection from their wrongdoing neighbors. They will either have to leave, or try to fend for themselves/turn to neighborhood "warlords" for protection.
The people most responsible for fanning the flames of anti-cop rhetoric are the media, young white liberals, or self-guilt ridden suburban white people. NONE who whom live with even interact on a daily basis with the people they are "trying to protect" from the police. So while police shootings create a great opportunity for the media to spread devisive rhetoric those people don't actually see the GOOD cops do in those areas.
