Not anywhere near the caliber of movie like Saving Private Ryan, but at the end of 8 Seconds, when he stayed on the bull after the whistle, every redneck in the theater had tears streaming down.

I don’t know if it is considered as sad, but I always tear up at the end of Fields of Dreams. And I have watched it dozens of times.

All kidding aside, teenage me felt pretty sad for the kid at the end of Last American Virgin

Forrest Gump

Jenny was a total bitch who just used Forrest when she was sick. When she was ok, she basically banged every dude in sight but not him. As one big last FU before she died, she tricks him into thinking her bastard kid is his and leaves him a single father who already has his own special needs. What a bitch.

This is classic putting the pussy on a pedestal behavior that's truly sad

It’s not the very end and it isn’t exactly sad, but when Roy Hobbs (Robert Redford) hits the winning home run in The Natural (which hits the light standard causing a shower of sparks)... when the movie shows the previously beleaguered manager (Wilford Brimley) sitting on the bench and watching in awe, with the sparks reflecting off his glasses as Hobbs rounds the bases.. Boy, that gets me every time!

Didn't read the whole thread, but basically the entirety of the movie 'A Dog's Purpose'

It's supposed to be touching and impactful, but damn that movie killed me. I could only watch it once since I'm a dog person, and it still gets me

No idea who thought that movie was a good idea for kids.

The few of us who have seen this all agree. This one has to be the most "Why the frick did I watch this?" movie ever.
If you know, you know.

Hachi - A Dog’s Tale. I watched it on a plane on one of the flip down screens. There were several of us drying tears
